Dec 2020
We managed to do just a few of our usual programme of Christmas carol engagements. All events outside and socially distanced to comply with the Covid regulations. The last event we managed before full "lockdown" was on Christmas Eve at Eggleston. You can find a video of this at https://youtu.be/IEDcAHUvjO8
Nov 2020
The rules keep changing! We have had to suspend rehearsals (Nov 2020) until the end of the second lockdown.
Oct 2020
We had to spend a few months over the summer playing "outside" to comply with Covid regulations. Thankfully we are now allowed to play indoors, but we spend a few Sunday evenings playing in a draughty barn in the hills outside of town.
To commemorate our sojourn in the wilderness one of our very talented cornet players Annette Butters has composed a concert march named after the farm that hosted us. This is still a work in progress but we thought that you would appreciate this sneak preview before an official Word Premier of the Bail Hill Farm march. This is a superb tune that is sure to be a fixture at our future concerts. Follow the link

June 2020
In June of this year the band were proud to honour an ex member Neville Turner by playing as the funeral cortege passed. This took place in the height of the Covid 19 pandemic with "social distancing " in place.
It was a very moving experience for us all as we hope the video will show.
