We are a self financing organisation and registered charity that promotes the playing and teaching of music for amateur musicians.
The band provides support to both civic and charitable events each year, and strives, through contesting, to improve the standard of musical skill.
All instruments and musical tuition is provided at no cost and without a requirement for previous musical skills or knowledge.
A number of band members have progressed to study music in higher education
